(Sub Syrah) Portugal, medium bodied, rich berry, spice, soft round finish.

Tinta roriz/Touriga Franca/Touriga Nacional.

 

2017 Chateau Lauduc Bordeaux Classic Rouge 52/11

(Sub Merlot) France, Dry. Has a tannic acidity. Rich ruby colour. Light legs. Extremely drinkable for the price. An enjoyable wine.

75% Merlot/25% CBS.

2018 Côtes du Rhône P45 Rouge 52/11

(Sub Pinot Noir) France, Intense cherry and strawberry notes, high acidity but nonetheless incredibly smooth light red. Extremely drinkable and great value for money.

Bourboulenc, Viognier, Marsanne, Grenache.

 

2017 Ogier Héritages Côtes du Rhône Rosé 63.5/13

France. This is a nice sipper, bordering on gulper. Red berries, rhubarb, with chalky notes and crisp acidity.

Shiraz/Syrah, Grenache, Muscat Blanc, Mourvedre.

 

2019 François Coteaux de l'Ardeche Blanc 70/14

(Sub Savuv ) France.Silky tannins and a rare aromatic complexity. An explosion of crunchy red fruits on the palate with typical notes of elegant spices of white pepper.

Chardonnay, Viognier, Marsanne, Grenache Blanc. 

 

2018 Mont'Albano Pinot Grigio Friuli Grave 57.5/13

Italy. Far classier than the average ‘PG’ on the market offering excellent depth of flavour allied to a telling crisp finale. This organic white wine is great with antipasti, grilled fish. 2019
